LogMeIn on Thursday introduced a new brand, GoTo, for its unified communications and collaboration (UCC) suite of offerings, less than a year after its acquisition of Jive Communications.

Along with its flagship meeting and webinar solutions – GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar – the new product portfolio will feature the company’s first truly integrated UCC solution, GoToConnect, as well as the just announced GoToRoom conference room solution.

“More and more workers are demanding all-in-one solutions that make it easier to move between different types of communication for better productivity,” said Mark Strassman, LogMeIn‘s senior vice president and general manager of UCC. “At the same time, IT leaders and business owners want a single partner that they can trust to help them manage their complex UCC needs. LogMeIn’s GoTo portfolio is uniquely positioned to support these needs for businesses of all sizes today and in to the future. Our new UCC solution is simple, elegant, intuitive and backed by a trusted global brand. Today’s announcement brings the best of LogMeIn’s meetings, webinars, voice and room solutions, and integrates it with its award-winning cloud telephony and messaging solutions — all under one brand, GoTo.”

GoToConnect will be generally available next month and offers customers audio, video and screen-sharing capabilities combined with cloud-based telephony in one experience. Workers can connect and communicate – both internally and externally – via either a web browser or a downloadable desktop app, according to LogMeIn.

GoToRoom allows for one-click meetings by integrating with an entire business email environment. An administrator can sync their company’s Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office 365 or Google Calendar to allow employees to book a GoToRoom-equipped space ahead of time and start a meeting with just one click once they walk in, the company said. GoToRoom is part of a hardware partnership with Polycom.

“GoToRoom is an incredibly powerful and robust room solution that is more affordable than others in the market today,” Strassman said. “While very feature-rich, it’s also simple to set up and use, and is backed by a trusted and established global UCC company. In just minutes, companies can go from unboxing their equipment to their first conference room video meeting. Through our relationship with Polycom, our customers are getting top-of-the-line hardware coupled with a brand-new GoToMeeting in room user interface to host engaging meetings and connect with colleagues and partners around the globe.”
