BGII Signs to Serve as Master Agent for PDS

BGI Inc.
(www.bgicorp.com), a distributor of prepaid, long-distance phone cards and machines that distribute prepaid phone cards, has signed a contract to become an independent master agent for the MaxTel USAOne Plus Program for Phone Debit Systems Inc.

The deal diversifies BGII’s product line by meshing its core business of vending prepaid phone cards through its Lucky Strike Prepaid Phone Card Dispensers with an aggressively priced One Plus Long Distance Service for residential and business applications.

All of BGII’s telecommunications business will continue to operate through PrePaid Plus Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary.

“By virtue of its huge volume purchasing, Phone Debit Systems Inc. has brought its MaxTel USA program to market with rates as low as 5.9 cents per minute, no monthly fees and six-second billing increments,” says BGII CEO Reid Funderburk in a press statement.

“There is a special discount available for consumers who elect to use electronic billing. Through banner advertising on our existing prepaid phone card platform and point of purchase materials at the retail locations of our dispensers, … this will quickly prove to be a profitable alliance for both BGII and PDS Inc.”
