Content management provider M-Files Corp. has released M-Files 10.0.
The updated version features a new user interface for accessing content on PCs, tablets and smartphones. It also comes with tighter quality assurance and compliance management capabilities, allowing regulated organizations to control document access across departments.
There’s also integration with brands including Microsoft Dynamics and SharePoint, and SalesForce, among other enhancements. And, M-Files optimized 10.0 for the Windows Azure cloud.
However, users don’t have to be IT pros to take advantage of the system, said M-Files’ Mika Javanainen, senior director of product management. That’s because M-Files 10.0 takes content management from a “complex, technology-centric tool to a business solution that … allows those closest to the business need to intuitively organize and access the right information they need,” he said.
M-Files 10.0 works on-premise, and in public, private and hybrid cloud environments. The company sells through the channel.
