Matrix Rolls Out TeleConvergence
November 2, 2004
Matrix Telecom is introducing TeleConvergence, a new service that integrates enterprise-class local, long-distance and data communications in a VoIP solution. The company says this service offers savings over traditional services by using a single access circuit.
Clearly VoIP technology is going to be the next revolution in telecommunications, and Matrix Telecom intends to leverage this technology to create customized solutions for its customers and agents, says Dennis Smith, president of Matrix Telecom.
The TeleConvergence line is designed for small and medium business and includes basic and complete versions. TeleConvergence Basic is a trunk replacement offering that allows customers to combine VoIP and existing PBX. TeleConvergence Complete bypasses the migration process and provides customers with a hosted PBX solution, serving as a step toward a complete VoIP solution, the company says.
The services will be offered on a retail and wholesale basis.
