ITEXPO — MegaPath Inc., a provider of managed IP data, voice and security services in North America, has announced it has partnered with Aastra USA to provide more options for companies looking to implement enterprise-level voice and data solutions. This partnership will enable partners to bundle MegaPath’s Duet SIP Trunking with Aastra’s AastraLink Pro 160 IP PBX offerings. This combination provides SMBs with multiple branch offices access to a business-class VoIP service that is both reliable and cost-effective.

“MegaPath and Aastra deliver complementary and affordable VoIP solutions, which can serve the needs of small-to-medium sized businesses,” said John Drolet, vice president of sales, indirect channels and carriers USA, Aastra USA. “We believe that SIP Trunking is the gateway to larger VoIP adoption, so our hardware and MegaPath’s nationwide footprint provide companies a ‘one-stop shop’ for all their voice and data needs.”

Duet leverages MegaPath’s all-optical MPLS network to deliver a low-cost, high-speed Internet and full-featured voice service bundle that is ideal for SMBs, said the company. Duet includes productivity features found in enterprise voice and data solutions without the staffing requirements or investment in network and telephony needed for customers to deploy their own infrastructure.

To kick off the partnership, MegaPath and Aastra are offering revenue incentives for current and prospective partners offering this bundled solution.
