Meru Networks Raises $30M in Fifth Funding Round

WLAN services provider Meru Networks has just finished a fifth round of funding.
The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company said Monday it has raised $30 million from investors including Vision Capital Advisors LLC and Clearstone Venture Partners.
Meru executives said they’re seeing “unprecedented enthusiasm” for 802.11n products, even in the poor economy.
“CIOs are looking for a wireless solution that is easy to deploy, secure and manage so their organizations can not only run all business-critical applications reliably over their WLANs but can do so with reduced budgets and more efficient utilization of precious networking staff,” said Brett White, Meru’s CFO.
