NBS has purchased the operations of Simlab.net, a New Jersey-based managed service provider (MSP) that specializes in deploying managed private WANs, Internet and VoIP services. Simlab and NBS had been providing services to each other for the past five years.

NBS said the combined resources will enhance its capacity to provide traditional facilities-based telecom, advanced IP voice communications and IT services as well as managed network services and high-speed internet connectivity.

“The combined operation will seamlessly supply our customers with a suite of traditional and IP-based voice services, along with a full complement of data and Internet services,” said Jon Kaufman, NBS founder and CEO.

Simlab’s management team and employees also will join NBS.
