NEC Elevates Solutions Performance

NEC Corp. of America announced Monday the launch of Elevate Performance,” a methodology for designing, integrating and managing IT and communication solutions that will identify and solve customer-specific business problems.

The initiative seeks to elevate performance in four verticals: health care, government, business and education.

In the health care market, for example, NEC has developed a patient care dashboard that shares information with doctors, insurance companies, regulators, patients, etc.; a real-time location service that helps track assets, patients and care givers; and a  unified clinical communications services that keeps clinical teams connected with patients and patient care plans.

In the education arena, NECs solutions include campus mobility, education performance dashboards and campus data protection. In the government market, the solutions include network services automation, virtualization for remote workers and business intelligence dashboards. Similarly, for the business market, NEC has developed business intelligence dashboards, virtualization for data centers and also communications-enabled business process applications.

 As technologies and solutions become more complex and diverse, companies are looking for a trusted adviser to help them bring together existing and new IT and communications solutions that will Elevate Performance in the market,” said Matthew Pierce, NECs senior vice president of enterprise solutions sales and marketing, in a press statement.
