Communications provider Line Systems, has a new leader for its sales efforts.
The Pennsylvania-based company named Bruce Wirt as its vice president of sales and marketing. He is charged with maintaining Line’s regional presence while expanding its national footprint. He aims to accomplish that with both an internal sales team and by “advancing channel opportunities.”
Wirt said he was attracted to the company when he learned about its expansion into the mid-Atlantic region and its attempts to have a national presence.
“… I felt strongly that I could have a great deal of success leading that charge. My goal is to build upon the achievements of the internal sales department and add a turnkey master-agent component to the revenue production,” he said.
Wirt most recently served as NetCarrier’s vice president of channel sales. He had been working for NetCarrier since 2007. He has spent nearly 20 years in the telecommunications industry, including stints at ATX Communications, Lichtman Communications and Cavalier Telephone.{ad}
Line Systems offers voice, data, cloud and consultative services.
“We are confident Bruce will provide the guidance, discipline and creativity to expand our brand, partnerships and product set,” said Warren Reyburn, the company’s executive vice president. “We see this as a strategic complement to our ever-evolving business and a testament to our growth objectives.”
