On the heels of its cloud PBX launch, NetCarrier is rolling out a nationwide channel program enabling VARs to maintain control of their accounts without having to become hosted service providers.

In October, NetCarrier, a voice and data service provider, launched N Cloud PBX services, which uses an open architecture and allows integration with Apple, Microsoft and Google desktops. The N Cloud PBX offers both hard phone and soft phone options.

The N Cloud VAR program enables VARs to maintain direct access to the customer for  equipment sales and maintenance while NetCarrier handles the service. NetCarrier pays approved VARs a residual for maintaining the customer, along with an upfront incentive to perform nationwide installations. VARs also can bill for NetCarrier’s service on their own invoice along with maintenance or other services.

We listened to the market,” said Bruce Wirt, NetCarrier’s director of sales, noting that some VARs were forced to become cloud providers because carriers were selling into their base.  They were buying white-label solutions and pushed into being a service provider without any real experience on that side of the house.  With our VAR program, we give them the best of both worlds.”
