NetLogic Rolls Out VoIP Plus

NetLogic, a service provider in the Midwest, today said it has deployed its VoIP service, VoIP Plus, for business and wholesale markets.

The CLEC, however, does not use the Internet for VoIP. Instead, it relies on its own network to bypass the public Internet and send calls directly to the PSTN, avoiding Web traffic jams and other potential problems.

VoIP Plus works with older phone systems and lets customers keep their numbers. It also provides foreign exchange service, meaning users can have phone numbers from anywhere in the country.

NetLogic further is offering its VoIP services wholesale to ISPs, cablecos and other technology companies.

We selected technology that allows our wholesale customers a choice in how their services are delivered, says Michael Young, executive vice president of operations and engineering for NetLogic. We spent over a year in development and testing of our VoIP services ensuring that we have the best quality product in the market place for both business and wholesale customers.

NetLogic only sells through agents and partners.
