NGT Names New President, CEO
October 3, 2006
New Global Telecom (NGT) has announced Mike Donnell as president and CEO. Donnell joins NGT with more than 20 years of senior-level experience in the telecommunications industry where he has achieved market-leadership positions for cellular and paging service providers.
“Mike’s proven track record of success and extensive experience developing channels and stimulating growth will be key to NGT’s continued leadership position in the VoIP market,” said Dan Caruso, a member of NGT’s board of directors. “We are delighted to have him on board.”
NGT said it is poised for continued growth with a strong investor syndicate and with new leadership, including the two executive management positions filled earlier this year: Bob Decker, senior vice president of operations and technology; and John Guillaume, senior vice president of sales and marketing. Rich Grange, NGT’s co-founder and leader of its strategic direction, will transition out of the day-to-day activities.
Most recently, Mike Donnell served as president and CEO of Zi Corp. Prior to Zi Corp., he served as CEO of Cellular One in San Francisco. He also has worked as president of PageNet’s western region.
