Norlight Telecommunications Inc. (Booth 417), a provider of wholesale network transport, has completed a network upgrade to increase the reliability of its transport services. Norlight has added a route between Davenport, Iowa, and Chicago, to provide route-redundancy for the Davenport market.

Mike Tenpas, senior director of wholesale sales for Norlight, says, Network redundancy and diversity are critically important to todays wholesale customers.

Norlight went directly to its customers to find out what issues are important in their choice of transport services. The company commissioned a customer-satisfaction survey conducted by Peregrine Marketing Research. The results indicated that customers rate Norlight better than other carriers for network reliability and performance.

Tenpas adds, We are pleased to extend our network diversity into Davenport and provide this additional layer of protection for our customers. In addition, we expect this network upgrade will attract new customers that have capacity requirements out of or into Davenport.

Norlight is a provider of voice and data wholesale transport. Headquartered in Brookfield, Wis., the company has been serving customers for 33 years with offices in Green Bay and Madison, Wis.; Chicago; Lansing, Grand Rapids, and Traverse City, Mich.; St. Paul, Minn.; and Indianapolis.
