Panel Touts Combo of Unified Communications, Collaboration

One of the most compelling keynotes from Channel Partners Evolution last month featured a panel discussing unified communications and collaboration. Like peanut butter and chocolate, they’re better together, the panel noted.

Featured were moderator Amy Bailey of Telarus, Christopher Alghini of Coolhead Tech (a partner business), Eric Bohren of RingCentral and Dennis DeMeyere, office of the CTO for Google Cloud.

Much of the discussion centered around the convergence of historically separate telecommunications and IT.

“When we talk about going in to sell to the line of business for marketing, we have to remember to include IT, which is a fundamental shift for IT as well as business,” Alghini said.
