PGi Adds Mitel, AT&T Alum as Cloud Sales SVP

PRESS RELEASE — CHANNEL PARTNERS CONFERENCE & EXPO — April 9, 2019 — PGi (booth 1555 and a Signature Sponsor), a business communications provider with a focus on helping people connect, has announced the appointment of Matt Moore, as Senior Vice President, North America Cloud Sales, effective immediately. Matt oversees both PGi’s direct and indirect sales teams while also managing our ongoing and collaborative relationships with our agent and reseller community.

Matt Moore will be responsible for driving business value for the company’s cloud-based communications and collaboration platform, GlobalMeet. A transformational and results-oriented professional, Matt leads all sales and sales management activities, ensuring PGi’s valued 46,000+ enterprise customers and channel partners have the necessary knowledge and access to GlobalMeet, helping connect people, teams and enterprises around the world.
Matt’s appointment follows the recent announcement by PGi of its unified communications as a service (UCaaS) offering via the GlobalMeet platform along with expanded smart collaboration capabilities using artificial intelligence (AI) to help users save time and improve productivity through automation.
Matt’s top priority is evangelizing the GlobalMeet roadmap, and how the GlobalMeet proposition is set to further evolve and strengthen in the coming years, to benefit direct customers and channel partners, aligned with a program to support the firm’s top salespeople.

PGi has researched and tested the market, technology, buyers, partners and end-users, and is now laying the foundation for its next leap forward for both PGi, and the industry, that is set to evolve PGi’s Unified Communication proposition, as it transforms to a business communications company. In 2019, PGi is planning to roll out hosted voice (Enterprise Voice) capabilities, SMS texting (messaging) and API integrations, all backed by key industry watchers. The firm will continue to support its customers, as it evolves to a single proposition for all collaboration needs across all devices.
Prior to joining PGi, Matt has held several senior sales, channel and customer success positions for more than 20 years at leading cloud communications companies including Mitel, ShoreTel and AT&T. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Baker University, as well as degree in electronics and electrical engineering technologies from State Fair Community College.
