PlanetOne Hires Former XO CM Hartman

Master agency PlanetOne Communications Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz., announced it has hired Jonathan Hartman, a former XO Communications Inc. channel manager, as its director of channel sales for the Western region.

Hartman, who is based in Phoenix, has nearly 15 years experience in telecommunications. Most recently he managed XOs business partners in Arizona. Previously, he was part of an ownership team for company providing high-speed fixed wireless Internet access. Hartman graduated from the University of Denver with a dual degree in marketing.

In his new role at PlanetOne, Hartman will have both a larger territory and a larger responsibility for the company’s success. He will be managing the relationships with existing Business Partners and building new partnerships with one common goal driving revenue.

In a press statement, Hartman said he looked forward to working in a more strategic sales position.”

PlanetOne President Ted Schuman praised Hartmans track record as a channel manager.

“He just might be the hardest working channel manager in the industry today. Now we’ll get the benefit of Jonathan’s industry expertise and reputation. We’re really pleased to have him on board,” Schuman said in a press statement.
