Polycom-Meetrix Interoperability Benefits Partners

Polycom has formed a partnership with Meetrix, a cloud enabler and integrator, to integrate their respective solutions to offer customers cloud-delivered, social video collaboration services.

The team-up integrates Meetrix’s UC cloud service for IBM Sametime and Polycom’s video infrastructure software on-premises or cloud-delivered from a service provider to help customers securely and reliably connect, communicate, and collaborate visually through their cloud-delivered social business app.

Meetrix works with any deployment of Polycom’s RealPresence platform, meaning the conferencing giant’s channel partners get a real benefit from interoperability. It’s a value-add for Meetrix partners who will use Polycom’s technology to extend investments they’ve already made.

The offering is available globally for existing Polycom RealPresence Platform and Meetrix UC in the Cloud for IBM Sametime customers at no additional integration or application cost.
