NEWSTEP INTRODUCES IP SERVICE CONTROL SOLUTION
NewStep Networks has introduced its Calling Service Node (CSN), an IP service control solution that enables service providers to integrate telephony services with enterprise applications and deliver them across TDM and IP networks. NewStep calls the CSN a self-funding foundation for transitioning TDM-based services to IP via SS7 or SIP signaling protocols. Applications are able to reach users on any standard device, across mobile or fixed networks.
The company says by decoupling service control and management from voice transport within both TDM and IP-based infrastructures, the CSN gives service providers immediate access to IP’s service innovation benefits without an IP infrastructure build-out.
The CSN is network agnostic.
