* TARGUS Information Corporation, a provider of Real Time Intelligence, has
expanded its telecom services organization. David O’Connor, Jeff Verderame
and Gary Gerard have joined TARGUSinfo.

All three have held various positions at major local, long distance, ISP and
operator services companies.

O’Connor, vice president and general manager of TARGUSinfo’s Telecom
Services, will work out of the company’s headquarters in northern Virginia.
Verderame, vice president of sales, and Gerard, vice president of business
development, have opened an office near New Haven, Conn.

The group will focus on providing telecommunications companies with real-time
telephone database applications, including LIDB, LNP, CNAM, intelligent routing
solutions, and next-generation risk management and profiling applications.

TARGUS Information Corp. (www.targusinfo.com)
holds patents that link virtually every telephone number in the United States
with a name, address, and predictive scores on buying behavior and lifestyle
activities.

* Bharat Davi, CEO of GRIC Communications Inc. (www.gric.com),
has been appointed to the company’s board of directors. In September, Davi was
named CEO of GRIC Communications, a provider of value-added Internet services
for service providers.

Davi is the former president and CEO of Infineon Technologies Corp., the
U.S. subsidiary of Infineon Technologies AG (www.infineon.com),
a Siemens AG (www.siemens.com) company.
Davi also held senior positions at Siemens Business Communications Systems and
management positions at IBM Corp. (www.ibm.com).

* Steven W. Town has been appointed to the board of directors of
RateXchange Corp. (www.ratexchange.com),
the electronic trading system that enables participants to trade bandwidth.

Town serves as the co-CEO of the Amerex Natural Gas, Amerex Power and Amerex
Bandwidth. Amerex (www.amerexenergy.com)
provides energy, power and bandwidth brokerage services to energy companies.

* Amsterdam, Netherlands-based VersaPoint N.V. (www.versapoint.com),
a DSL-based broadband service provider, appointed Rod Matthews CEO in
November. Matthews, who worked as the CEO and president of Global Crossing
Europe (www.globalcrossing.com),
replaced interim CEO Ray Solnik.

Matthews, who earned degrees in mechanical and electrical engineering, held
several management positions in the telecommunications business prior to his
experience at Global Crossing Europe. In November 1993, he founded Scottish
Telecom–now Thus plc (www.thus.net)–where he
served as the CEO until March 1999.

* Sierra Wireless Inc. (www.sierrawireless.com),
a provider of wireless data communications hardware and software products, has
appointed Gary Overstreet vice president of North America distribution
and Jeff Miller vice president of business development.

Overstreet is the former area sales vice president of Avaya, the former
enterprise networks group of Lucent Technologies Inc. (www.lucent.com).

Miller is a former worldwide director of business development for Motorola
Inc.’s (www.motorola.com) personal area
networks group, where he assisted in launching the company’s Bluetooth
initiatives. Miller also managed national and global sales teams in several
wireless data businesses at Motorola.
