Ring2 Conferencing has announced the launch of Ring2Blast, an enhancement to its conferencing platform that allows the user to simultaneously dial out to a predetermined participant list with just a few clicks from Ring2’s Web portal, or remotely from a BlackBerry or Windows mobile device.

The service has the same basic philosophy of an e-mail distribution list, but instead of using e-mail addresses, Ring2Blast utilizes end users’ phone numbers to get them on the conference call. This allows for calls to happen at a moment’s notice without having to contact each of the participants individually or hope that they are in front of their computers to get the conference call invite.

Ring2Blast is for sale immediately via direct and indirect channels. End users are billed only if they use the service and are charged on a per-minute basis.
