RingCentral on Wednesday said it has enhanced its professional services by adding a Certified Delivery Partner Program aimed at supporting global enterprise customers.

RingCentral's Walt WeisnerCertified delivery partners are based all over the world, providing support and fulfilling enterprise service requests – including technical design, implementation, network configuration, integration and monitoring services. Developed to scale, the program is customizable according to the level of professional-services capabilities and geographic reach an enterprise may need, the company said.

Walt Weisner, RingCentral’s senior vice president of global customer care, tells Channel Partners that with the expansion of RingCentral Office products globally, “we are scaling our professional-services business, particularly as we accelerate our larger customer deployments across the world.” The new program is complementary to the company’s existing channel program, he said.

“The Certified Delivery Partner Program deepens both the technical and business relationships with channel partners, as well as brings in new delivery partners, to work alongside the RingCentral Professional Services team as they continue to assist enterprise customers with their migration to the RingCentral communications platform,” he said.

“The program enables channel partners in the space to address professional-services deployment needs for their customers’ solutions in a timely manner,” Weisner said. “This is done through utilizing locally capable resources and responding efficiently to meet very aggressive implementation time requirements demanded by customers.”

RingCentral has signed multiple national and regional certified delivery partners with the rollout of its new program. Many of the partners are RingCentral resellers, who play a key role in selling to large enterprise customers, as well as providing professional services.

“The Certified Delivery Partner program has garnered significant interest from many of the current channel reseller partners,” Weisner said. “We aim to attract new partners, as our existing partners see the value to their operations in having skilled resources on hand to assist with their direct customer interactions.”
