RingCentral Vet Joins 8x8 Leadership Team as New CMO
8x8's new CMO led marketing at RingCentral.
Amritesh Chaudhuri, previously with RingCentral, has joined the 8×8 leadership team as executive vice president and chief marketing officer.

Chaudhuri is a recognized leader in the cloud industry. He’s taken cloud and SaaS solutions, including contact center and communications, to market both in the enterprise and the SMB space.
In December, Dave Sipes, RingCentral’s former COO, was named 8×8’s new CEO, replacing Vik Verma in the leadership role.

Experience with RingCentral, Oracle
Before joining the 8×8 leadership team, Chaudhuri led marketing at RingCentral. Before that, he led marketing for Oracle’s Cloud Platform portfolio. In addition, he helped drive growth and adoption of Oracle’s PaaS and IaaS services.

Former CMO Marge Breya will continue to advise 8×8 as a consultant.
Last month, 8×8 said it’s experiencing strong channel momentum and growth driven by its integrated cloud contact center and communications product. It said the 8×8 Open Channel Program is helping channel partners meet increasing demand for cloud solutions. They allow midmarket, enterprise and public sector organizations to optimize employee and customer engagement.
