Collaboration - fist bump

Rise Broadband, the wireless internet service provider, has chosen PGi as its lone collaboration provider.

The Atlanta-based PGi will be Rise Broadband’s only supplier of video, web, audio and streaming conferencing solutions.

“We’re thrilled to offer our collaboration solutions to Rise Broadband’s small business and enterprise internet users,” said Kevin Moran, PGi’s senior vice president of service providers. “PGi and Rise Broadband understand the importance of mission-critical business applications, as we are both committed to providing the highest possible quality and customer experience.”

PGi says Rise Broadband is now better equipped to help rural and suburban communities interact over the internet.

“When you pair Rise Broadband’s high-speed fixed wireless internet services with the HD audio and video quality of PGi’s all-inclusive conferencing solution, small business and enterprise customers get an enhanced conferencing and group engagement experience,” said Fred Barnes, Rise’s vice president of enterprise sales.

Rise Broadband launched a new channel program back in April, admitting that the company was finally giving its partner program the attention it deserved. The Colorado-based business originally went as JAB Wireless after its inception in 2005.

The first half of 2017 has been busy for PGi. The company acquired collaboration rival ReadyTalk and rolled out a list of changes and investments in its channel program.
