RiverRock Systems Migrates Billing, Customer Care Solution to Microsoft .NET
February 10, 2004
OSS vendor RiverRock Systems Ltd. (Booth 832) announced the migration of its RADIX IDC Billing and Customer Care suite to the Microsoft’s .NET platform.
At RiverRock, a core mission is to build, enhance and support the most advanced billing and customer care solutions necessary for our customers’ success. Moving to Microsoft .NET is a natural step for our web-based solution and will bring great benefits to both our hosted and licensed customers, says RiverRock President David Thompson.
RADIX IDC delivers order management, customer care, convergent rating and billing, accounts receivable, collections and eCare.
The Microsoft .NET Framework is a Microsoft Windows component for building and running applications and XML Web services. It provides a standards-based, enterprise-ready, multi-language environment designed to simplify application development, enable developers to make use of their existing skill set, facilitate integration with existing software and ease the challenges of deploying and operating Internet-scale applications.
The migration to .NET enables RiverRock to position its customers for the future, says Robert MacKay, vice president of product development for the company. Microsoft .NET delivers notable improvements in system performance, scalability, stability, maintainability and development time, all of which benefit our customers.
