Salestream Launches MasterStream

Salestream Software Inc. (Booth 339), the provider of online sales force automation software for the telecom industry, today announced the release of MasterStream, providing total automation for telecom master agencies.

Key MasterStream features include on-demand access to Salestreams robust Provider Assimilation System (PAS), allowing users to generate accurate quotes for telecom services based on actual physical availability of the services.

Unlike other CRM quoting applications, Salestreams PAS maintains all assimilated pricing and availability variables, freeing master agents to focus on other aspects of operation.

Although sometimes referred to as the Hotwire of telecom for its ability to render instantly accurate and complete quotes for complex services, MasterStreams Instant Quote functions require secure login, which is just one unique aspect of the systems overall automation suite, according to the company.

Other key features include the ability to launch pre-populated order forms directly from the instantly generated quotes, track their orders, and set renewal reminders, in addition to many other core CRM functions.

MasterStreams unique ability to automatically source and populate order documents provides a significant cost savings to master agents versus standard manual preparation, says Steve Roberts, Salestreams CEO.

MasterStreams workflow management, privilege allocation and fulfillment responsibility assignment functions allow master agencies to customize their experiences to better address the needs of each work group or fulfillment team. Agent management is another strong suite in the MasterStream system.

Master agents can tailor the access and conditions of system use on an agent-specific basis. For example, the Exclude Provider function allows master agents to block specific providers quotes from generating for an agent, which reduces the instances of order circumvention.

In addition to meeting the administrative needs of master agents, another overriding design theme of MasterStream is to help agents close more business. We didnt want to create the best management system for master agents without giving the agents a compelling reason to use it, says Salestream co-founder and MasterStream designer Jeff Fraser. Agents actually want to use MasterStream because it does practically everything but close the sale for them. In fact, MasterStreams instantly generated quotes are actually produced in the format of a multiprovider, agent-branded proposal and can be sent to the customer with the click of the mouse.
