Version 3.0 of Skip2PBX VoIP gateway has been released after development and debugging lasted nearly a year.

Skip2PBX is software that allows for complete integration of existing PBX systems with Skype network. Skip2PBX combines parallel Skype calling into a highly scalable package which makes it available for both small businesses and bigger enterprises. The gateway acts as a bridge between the current phone infrastructure and Skype VoIP network, allowing for concurrent two-way communication between Skype and existing office phones.

Version 3 of Skip2PBX features:

  • Up to 60 concurrent calls on the same server

  • Up to 240 active Skype clients

  • SIP registrar and proxy functionalities

  • Skype file transfer to e-mail or FTP

  • Skype chat and SMS support

  • Web interface completely rewritten in AJAX

  • Software echo cancellation

  • Reduced CPU utilization

Any integrators, developers or PBX manufacturers can now develop their own applications based on the Skip2PBX engine. The company is looking for new distributors and resellers in North America.
