snom has announced the integration of its SIP-based phone portfolio with Swedish-based IP PBX manufacturer SIPGear.
Snom develops and manufactures advanced VoIP phones for enterprise and residential markets.
After testing and evaluation, SIPGear’s iPBX received full certification by snom as interoperable and deployable with snom 3xx series VoIP phones and the new snom m3 IP DECT mobile phone.
“We are pleased to have SIPGear, one of Sweden’s cutting edge telecom companies, join the snom partner program and have its SIPGear iPBX achieve full certification as being tested, interoperable and ready to deploy with snom’s portfolio of SIP VoIP phones,” said Dr. Michael Knieling, executive vice president of Marketing and Sales. “The joint snom-SIPGear solution is an ideal fit for businesses needing an IP telephony solution that blends value, advanced calling features and ease of use.”
snom phones offer comprehensive VoIP security including support for TLS and SRTP protocols and VPN capabilities. The SIP telephones can support several audio devices simultaneously, such as the handset & headset, hands-free and power over Ethernet.
“snom is a premier developer of advanced, intelligent VoIP handset technology and we believe the combination of SIPGear’s iPBX tightly integrated with snom’s SIP phones give both small and medium sized business (SMBs) and enterprise customers a feature-rich, reliable and affordable business telephony solution that blends advanced VoIP technology with superior ease of use,” said Annika Stenbom, marketing director for SIPGear.
