Sysix Technologies appears to have closed this month, an action that may or may not be a result of the death of John Sheaffer, the company’s CEO. The Lombard, Ill.-based VAR reported a 2008 revenue of $100.4 million.

Sheaffer, who died at age 44, joined Sysix in 2001, from Forsythe Solutions Group, a business he helped found and where he served as vice president. He is survived by his wife, Michele, three daughters, his mother, and two sisters and two brothers.
