TalkSwitch released version 6.10 of its management software. This free upgrade allows analog and IP phones to be automatically detected and configured and firewall tested.

The 6.10 software allows for up to 100 systemwide speed-dial numbers. Users also now have the ability to set call-handling rules based on the incoming caller ID, allowing them to block telemarketers or route inbound calls, for instance.

There is also a hotline function, which enables pick up of a phone and instant connection to an operator, front desk or taxi service.

New hunt group balancing and overflow options help ensure users are efficiently using PSTN and VoIP lines, explained TalkSwitch.

Customers now can opt to extend the warranty coverage period of TalkSwitch systems by one, two or four years. Extended warranties are available for any TalkSwitch VS system still covered by its original one-year limited warranty.
