Master agent TBI hosted a lunch and learn event for Denver partners on August 24 at Maggiano’s Downtown Denver. The event was sponsored by TBI vendors CenturyLink Channel Alliance, Comcast Business Class and XO Communications.
The event opened with presentations from TBI and its sponsoring vendors. CenturyLinks Terry Stenlund and Dan Spicer presented on IQ/Colo and MPLS/VPDC bundles. Shane Fugazy reviewed Comcasts Metro E/Fiber products and process. XOs Craig Pool, Steve Sharp and Mark Reynolds presented on IP Strategy and Ethernet products.
National Channel Manager Ryan McKenney organized the event as TBIs local resource for Denver partners. The event was TBIs highest-attended local partner event outside of Chicago.
I thought the event was well-planned and productive,” said XO’s Pool. “It had a good turnout of agents and carriers. My expectation is both the agents and carriers walked away from the event believing it was time well spent.”
CenturyLink’s Stenlund added, As the CenturyLink channel manager, I would like to thank Ryan McKenney and TBI for putting together a great lunch and learn. In typical TBI fashion they were able to fill the room with active partners and bring opportunities to the table.”
Partners also felt the event was productive and aided in further relationship building with TBI and the sponsoring vendors. We feel that our partnership with TBI is in the best interest of our clients and look forward to strengthening the partnership in the months ahead,” stated TBI partner Pete Dempsey, president of Network Checker Inc.
TBI is currently planning more networking events in areas where they have channel management support, including northern and southern California.
