Telarus Hires CFO

Telecom services distributor Telarus Inc. announced it has hired Zane Christensen to serve as chief financial officer.

Christensen comes to Telarus with more than  20 years of experience in a variety of  industries, including software, technology, manufacturing, financial services, and others. Notably, he spent more than 13 years at First Data Corp., first as senior director of finance and then vice president of finance. He also had an eight-year stint at Arthur Anderson. He has a master degree in accounting from Brigham Young University.

As CFO, Christensen will oversee partner compensation, supplier compensation, employee compensation, budgeting and forecasting.

Christensen is the second C-level executive hired by Telarus in the past 90 days. The company tapped David Bashford as COO and general counsel in October.
