PRESS RELEASE — CHANNEL PARTNERS CONFERENCE & EXPO — April 17, 2018 — TeleDomani (booth #9010 and a Featured Sponsor) continues its expansion, so the need for additional personnel is paramount to maintain TeleDomani’s white glove service standard. The Master Agent is creating a path to support a new generation of technology leaders; TeleDomani seeks driven and career minded individuals to make up their team and is pioneering for the future of women in the technology industry.
One of TeleDomani’s most recent strategies for evolution was the addition of 20-year Verizon veteran, Michele LaBuda, its first Executive Director of Sales Operations. LaBuda is projected to have a large effect on TeleDomani’s success. Throughout LaBuda’s twenty-year tenure with Verizon she’s held various positions, the last 14 as a valued sales leader. LaBuda joins TeleDomani with extensive knowledge of customized business solutions and a deep understanding of the Verizon portfolio.
CEO Gina Pigott states, “Michele is just what we needed here at TeleDomani! She is one of the most respected individuals I’ve met in the industry. The rapport and trust that Michele builds with those she works with is unprecedented and has allowed her to develop long standing, loyal business relationships. Her expertise will prove invaluable in partner enablement, as she focuses on developing individual plans to solve our partners’ strategic challenges and advance their businesses. Her abilities are just as strong operationally, and our agents will get the best of both worlds as she steers them through the process. She leads our channel efforts with a focus on growing revenue and enhancing the partner and client experience, all while helping to drive sales strategy and business development. Our whole team is over the moon to have her here and our agents are about to be!”
LaBuda is a key component in TeleDomani’s initiative for young women in tech, working side by side with CEO Gina Pigott and CFO Mary Pellnitz. We have recently added five entry-level positions for young women starting their careers while in college or post Grad.
LaBuda says, “I chose to make TeleDomani my home because Gina [Pigott] and this organization make you feel like family. I am inspired to be part of the vision to lead a value driven culture, that’s built on a foundation of mentoring to empower the younger generation, to guide them through the start of their career and set a path to achieve at the highest level. TeleDomani represents true professionalism, leadership and expertise.”
Stacy Escobar, Accounting Apprentice
First in an impressive line of up-and-comers is Accounting Apprentice Stacy Escobar. Stacy chose TeleDomani because it is a woman-owned business. She has a passion for numbers and applying them to real life scenarios. Stacy is a hard-working and determined young woman and is excited to support the TeleDomani team.
Jessica Pellnitz, Operations Assistant
Jessica is another member of the female collegiate team. Her responsibilities include tracking agent quotes and order assignments and their completion to ensure the service TeleDomani agents have come to rely on. Gina Pigott boasts that “Jessica has an entrepreneurial mindset and will be one to watch for in the future. I have no doubt she will grow to be a powerhouse female executive someday.” Jessica is a Presidential Scholarship recipient at SUNY Oswego and is currently studying accounting.
Olivia Mulligan, Marketing Apprentice
Olivia arrived at TeleDomani with a degree in Professional Communications from SUNY Farmingdale and is eager to learn and …
… grow within the technology world. Olivia is honored to be working with the amazing TeleDomani team, in an atmosphere where people are always willing to help their colleague. Already, Olivia has brought vibrant ideas and lessons to the marketing table and has recently experienced great success in promoting TeleDomani’s annual Kick Off event.
Angelica Stabile, Communications Apprentice
Another addition to the marketing team, Angelica joins as one of TeleDomani’s newest collegiate employees. Angelica is a Presidential Scholarship recipient and the president of her sorority Zeta Tau Alpha. She is currently finishing up her Bachelor’s degree in English-Writing at High Point University and will be graduating this May. Angelica worked on marketing for the 2018 Kick Off, constructs TeleDomani newsletters and press releases, and continues to bring fresh and current ideas to management.
Tisha Banks, Administrative Apprentice
With strong attention to detail and a focus on teamwork, Tisha Banks rounds out this dynamic group of young women. Tisha has a background in customer service, project management and quality assurance, as well as some experience in client relations. Tisha finds the tech industry quite interesting and is looking forward to helping TeleDomani bring the best to its agents.
TeleDomani’s CEO Gina Pigott states, “Some of the best advice I ever received was from Janet Schijns, who urged me to go find a reverse mentor; these young women are brilliant, have a phenomenal work ethic, they embrace new technology and use it to its fullest potential every day to be productive, efficient and ahead of the pack. I learn from them every day! We are focused on increasing the female population in our industry while making being in technology inspiring, rewarding and exciting for young women to find a home with us. Our little company is making a big difference every day, paying it forward and contributing to the growth of our staff, agents and all the companies we partner with.”
With continuous growth, there seems to be no stopping the TeleDomani domination.
