Toshiba‘s IPedge communications system now works with ONEAC Corp.‘s uninterruptible power supply (UPS) modules and line-protector boxes.
Toshiba’s telecom resellers are able to sell the ONEAC equipment, which protects server-based IP phone systems from power disturbances. Interoperable products include the ONEAC ON Series UPS, ONePlus Series UPS and Communication Line Protectors for use with Toshibas IPedge IP telephony communication system. As such, Toshiba and ONEAC have created the “ONEAC Total Protection Solution,” a package that offers:
Protection for all paths (both communication and AC power lines) by which electrical disturbances can enter a system;
A low-impedance isolation transformer that protects against power and data line disturbances;
A clean signal reference ground for electronic systems;
Scalable runtime, which extends battery time; and
Five-year warranty on UPS (2-year warranty on batteries) and free 24-hour technical support.
ONEAC products are specifically designed to address the need for an isolated ground, helping to ensure a clean signal reference ground,” said Mark Carpenter, director of product management for Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., Telecommunication Systems Division. ONEACs products help maximize the optimal performance of Toshibas IPedge IP business telephone system by providing foundational clean power, which contributes to the systems overall reliability.”
