TPx‘s UCx UCaaS app now leverages Cisco Webex for an upgraded user experience.

TPx is one of the first service providers to go to market with the new Broadworks for Webex platform from Cisco. It announced the platform, which provides UC integration with Webex Teams, in October.

The TPx UCaaS platform combines the call-control capabilities of UCx with the collaboration capabilities of Webex Teams.

Teams includes messaging, file sharing, video meetings, whiteboarding, breakout rooms and more.

Unique Offering for Partners

“While many partners sell a collaboration solution today, UCx with Cisco Webex is a one-of-a-kind product that marries [our] collaboration platform with the most well-known, best-in-class calling platform to provide a business with collaboration and PBX functionality,” he said. “This is something truly unique to the partner community.”

UCx is available in three bundles to meet the needs of a range of users. That includes starting with basic telephony to advanced collaboration with the ability to host a 1,000-person meeting.

Additionally, prebuilt integrations with TPx UCaaS are available for third-party applications from Google, Box, Salesforce, Microsoft and more.

TPx partners can sell calling and collaboration via a single, easy-to-use app, Minner said. And the vendor is handling provisioning, training and deployment.

TPx’s implementation services include planning, project management, installation, training and around-the-clock support specialists.

Several Options for Partners

“We’re excited to deliver several UCx with Cisco Webex options to partners and their customers that need better collaboration solutions for working remotely or in a hybrid environment,” Minner said. “In addition, UCx with Cisco Webex works seamlessly across any device that remote workers use.”

TPx has a longstanding relationship with Cisco that’s built on innovation, he said. TPx collaborated with Cisco to go to market with this solution. Furthermore, it contributed to the design and engineering.

“With fully integrated Webex technology, TPx users will experience a modern, all-in-one collaboration tool that delivers simple, flexible communications, making their businesses more productive and more secure, with any device from anywhere,” said Tony Lopresti, Cisco’s director of product management for Webex.

Cisco logged more than 600 million Webex users in October. That’s nearly double the 324 million recorded in March during the rush to work from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
