US LEC Corp., a CLEC in the eastern United States, said yesterday it has bolstered its Dynamic T voice and broadband Internet service with SIP for direct IP peering with IP PBXs.

The company sells Dynamic T through its channel partners.

US LEC says adding SIP to Dynamic T facilitates interconnection with TDM PBXs as well as IP PBXs. It also says the direct IP peering between a users IP PBX and US LECs VoIP network eliminates the customers need to purchase Internet access devices or traditional TDM voice services.

Our ongoing product introductions are allowing US LEC to maximize the true potential of IP technology, offering more business-grade features and capabilities inherent to next-generation communications, says Jeff Blackey, senior vice president of US LEC.
