Atlanta-based wholesale carrier USCarrier Telecom LLC (Booth 205) says it has made several improvements to its Southeastern network.

USCarriers first project connected four telecom hotels in downtown Atlanta to enhance the metro network within the city limits. Another improvement to the USCarrier network is an express route between Atlanta and Chattanooga, Tenn., aimed at increasing capacity and cutting costs for its partners outside Georgia. USCarrier says it also has fully integrated the Lightwave network it acquired in December 2003.

USCarrier has more than 3,000 route-miles of state-of-the-art fiber optic network in four states, monitored 24 hours, seven days a week. Wholesale services include long-haul transport, metro Atlanta access, long-distance and Internet access connecting more than 40 cities in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and other parts of the southeast.
