February 25, 2010
Utility Telephone (Booth #1218), a full-service, facilities-based CLEC serving California and Nevada, is announcing at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo the launch of its G-PBX hosted IP PBX service, Web hosting and SaaS services for sale through agents.
G-PBX is a hosted IP PBX service from small and medium businesses based on the Metaswitch platform. The service includes three packages – basic, intermediate and executive – that are price per seat, per month, per line. IP phones from snom are available for purchase or lease to buy. Agents can earn a signing bonus equal to one month’s charges as well as residual commissions for the term of the contract.
The Web hosting offer is shared hosting offered in Utility Telephone’s own data center. The service will be beta tested in April and generally available in May. Agents will be compensated on a residual basis.
Utility Telephone also will be offering a suite of on-demand software, including communication and collaboration, shopping cart, e-marketing and document management, project management, blog and Web, and HR management. The SaaS services will be rolled out in May.
These products are in addition to the company’s core products, including burstable Internet T1, ADSL, SHDSL, local and long-distance services.
