Virtual Back Office Software Inc. (Booth 516) now offers its Pre-Paid Central module. The feature allows local service providers to run a pre-paid UNE-P/resale service in addition to the post-paid local, long-distance, data, VoIP and wireless services already available through the standard VBOS suite.

VBOS concentrated its efforts with Pre-Paid Central on automating the acquisition, provisioning, servicing, billing and collections processes. Once a prospect is entered, the combination of tight bonding with the ILECs and the automated workflow approaches zero human touch for the entire prepaid operation, says Craig Hill, VBOS founder and president.

Hill adds, With Pre-Paid Central, everything from the timing of customer notifications to the provisioning/suspending of lines at the ILEC can be easily customized and automated. Once prospects have been activated, VBOSS (Virtual Business & Operations Support System) provides all the tools to service, rate, bill, collect and communicate with the customers.
