Virtual PBX has introduced international numbers in more than 45 countries and more than 1,500 cities abroad.

“Offering international numbers can be a great asset for engaging overseas customers, but the process of setting them up, especially for smaller firms, can be costly and, frankly, a pain to manage,” said Paul Hammond, CEO of Virtual PBX. “Virtual PBX’s new international numbers give customers based in the United States an easy to use, lower cost way to have an international presence.”

Virtual PBX’s international calling options provide support in more than 45 countries, including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Singapore and the United Kingdom. The cost for most countries is $20 per month with an initial one-time connect fee of $20. International numbers can be added to any Virtual PBX plan, with prices starting as low as $9.99 per month.

Coupled with Virtual PBX’s VoIP peering, the cost for doing international business has been reduced for both Virtual PBX clients and their customers, the company said. Clients’ international customers can call in on local numbers within their own countries for just the cost of a local call. VoIP peering then allows the callers to be connected with company employees in any location using SIP through partners like Gizmo5, with no cost for the connection – even if the employees are in countries outside the United States.

In addition to the new international calling plan, Virtual PBX also updated its affiliate program. The new Virtual PBX Affiliate Program allows partners to participate in Virtual PBX’s lead-generation rewards program.

Partners can sign up for free and can earn automated payouts by referring their own clients to Virtual PBX. Payouts are given after referred customers sign up and remain a customer for 30 days. Partners can earn as much as $50 per lead.
