SaaS and hosted PBX vendor Nextiva is now offering a hosted solution that provides all of the bells and whistles of an enterprise PBX. Branded under the name of Nextiva Office, Nextiva is aiming to roll multiple communications services into a single platform, which will work anywhere there is a persistent connection to the Internet.

Nextiva Office includes:

  • Unlimited Inbound Minutes

  • Virtual PBX (Auto Attendant)

  • Unlimited Outbound Minutes

  • Voice mail

  • Toll Free Minutes

  • Call Forwarding

  • Dial-By-Name Directory

  • Local Number

  • Conferencing Features

  • Office Manager Web Portal

  • Multi-level auto-attendant call routing

The company has designed the service for smaller businesses, with an eight-user solution running about $175 per month. Nextiva claims there are no startup or installation costs, no contracts required and the service is billed out based upon a flat monthly fee. The company also offers a single line plan for $34.95 per month and is competing against other VoIP providers, such as Packet8 and Vonage.

The Nextiva Office system is managed online and requires no technical experience. The company claims that business owners will have full control over their phone system and can easily make changes with the click of a mouse. Nextiva has not released any information on channel programs or partner recruitment, perhaps making Nextiva Office a competitor for channel players looking to build business around VoIP solutions.
