Voice Smart Networks Introduces Smart Agent Program
March 23, 2004
Voice Smart Networks (Booth 223), a provider of application engineering and implementation, support and managed services, announces its Smart Agent Program, designed to give individuals not previously trained as telecom agents the education and confidence to sell local, long-distance and Internet services on a part-time basis.
The company says the program also is a resource and avenue for experienced agents who would like to learn more about VoIP and benefit from the commission structure for traditional and VoIP telecommunications hardware.
As an added bonus, agents can have a Mitel VoIP telephone at their home offices connected to Voice Smart’s corporate headquarters, providing a branch office extension off of its Mitel 3300 ICP VoIP telecommunications system. The toll-free number terminates into Voice Smart’s system but rings in the home office. The company also can provide a corresponding voice mailbox.
Voice Smart says it is just an intercom call away, making it easy for agents to contact the network services division to check phone bill analysis and order tracking.
"This is a valuable tool for our agents when demonstrating the power of VoIP to their prospective customers," says Steven Gran, sales manager for Voice Smart. "[This] helps our agents close more sales."
Smart Agents will be able to track their own progress, obtain all necessary long-distance applications and have access to the latest long-distance promos through an Extranet site. Finally, Smart Agents will be able to have their own template Web site for advertising purposes.
Agents will receive a "Smart Kit" welcome package, that includes: a Voice Smart Networks polo shirt; an embossed Voice Smart Networks padfolio; an imprinted Voice Smart Networks pen; instructions for the Web site; and unlimited professional objective analysis and reports of all prospects’ telephony and Internet bills.
