VoiceOne Adds Text Messaging to Click4Me.Net

VoiceOne Communications LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of VoIP Inc., has added text messaging to its beta version of Click4Me.Net., the companys Web-click calling service that uses VoIP technology for free phone-to-phone calling.

The beta version is available for testing on Labs.VoiceOne.com, VoiceOnes virtual lab that allows users to preview and test, for free, on the IP communications services. Users also will be asked to provide feedback.

The addition lets users connect to other members by texting “CALL + the member’s username” to the Click4Me SMS address. Registered members make calls to any number by texting “CALL + telephone number” to the Click4Me SMS address.

Additional Click4Me.Net features include free directory assistance, which users can receive via SMS; an online inbox; e-mail; and SMS notifications of missed calls or new messages..

The technology also can be integrated into e-mails, Web pages, Web advertisements and so on by embedding a hyperlink tag.
