It seems some lesser-known companies are reaping the rewards since AT&T said it would shut down its CallVantage VoIP service in October.

VoicePulse says it’s seen a 33 percent increase in new residential customer sign-ups since AT&T’s most recent announcement that service would end on October 20.

VoicePulse lets you keep your phone number at no additional cost. Local Unlimited and America Unlimited calling plans start at $14.99. You just need a high-speed Internet connection and a touch-tone phone.
