VoSKY Doubles Global Channel in 2008
January 16, 2009
VoSKY, a wholly owned subsidiary of Actiontec Electronics, announced this week that in 2008 it added six new distributors and 358 new resellers to sell its VoSKY Exchange PBX-to-Skype application gateways worldwide. With the additions, VoSKY now has 16 distributors and 610 sales partners.
VoSKY’s Exchange Pro line of analog, digital and SIP PBX-to-Skype gateways enable VARs to add Skype applications to existing PBXs, thereby reducing customers’ communications costs by 50 percent or more for domestic and international calls. In addition, businesses can add enhanced applications such as Web-based Click2Call, global presence, remote access, multisite PBX networking and FMC.
VoSKY’s solution is certified by major PBX vendors such as Avaya, ShoreTel and Altigen.
VoSKY resellers have access to demo gear and are certified to install, service and support VoSKY Exchanges. They also are trained on Skype features and services, such as the Business Control Panel, SkypeOUT, SkypeIN and Skype voucher credits.
Randy Wensmann, president and owner of BTX, a U.S.-based VoSKY Premier Partner, said in a press statement that his company has used the PBX-to-Skype gateway to generate incremental revenue from its customer base and to open doors for new phone system sales. “In addition, the VoSKY team has provided us with professional sales and technical support and has always been there for us when we have needed them,” he said.
