Acuity chose Windstream for its footprint and IT expertise.

Acuity Information Systems, a business and IT consultancy based in Las Vegas, said this week it has signed an agent agreement with Windstream Corp.
Acuity said it chose Windstream as its latest vendor because of the NuVox and PAETEC acquisitions; those deals gave Windstream new reach into the businesses-services sector, through channel partners, and helped the carrier gain a nationwide footprint.
Those factors were important considerations for Acuity, whose IT-manager customers struggle with vendor sprawl while finance execs want fewer billing headaches.
“Typical clients for us are those forging new business models and expanding their market presence as far as they can go,” Keith Nunnery, executive director of Acuity Information Systems Las Vegas, said in a prepared statement. “Windstreams services lineup brings IT-as-a-Service … to emerging and transitioning businesses. The importance of converged, affordable hosted voice and managed network services is a must to improve profits.”
