WTG partners now may sell MetTel’s entire portfolio of wireless services.

The companies said this week they have upgraded their partnership to include cross-carrier connectivity plans, top-end smartphones and tablets, mobile device management and more. WTG first signed with reseller MetTel more than five years ago but partners’ interest in mobility prompted an enlargement of the relationship.

"With so many ‘protected’ accounts at the big carrier level and agents wanting residual on wireless, WTG needed a flexible partner we could trust," said Vince Bradley, WTG’s CEO.

Scott Armstrong, director of MetTel’s agent channel, said the company is being "very strategic" in choosing its mobility partners and that WTG has proven itself over the years.
