World Telecom Group (WTG) said this week it has been chosen as one of the first master agents for Frontier Communications new Strategic Alliance Channel.
The program is an upgrade for the Connecticut-based telecom carrier, and comes with new resources and compensation structures, but few details were available.
For WTG agents, the designation as a Strategic Alliance partner means the ability to sell across the entire Frontier footprint, the Malibu, Calif.-based company said on Tuesday. There now is a local strategy, WTG said, along with an emphasis on winbacks and acquisitions. Frontier wasnt able to expound on those opportunities.
In addition, theres an agent portal that will house promotions, sell sheets, order status and new channel management.
WTG already served as a Frontier master agent but the new changes open more opportunities to WTGs channel partners. They also mean WTG will be able to scale our Frontier business in all [Frontier] markets,” WTG CEO Vince Bradley said in a press release.
With such an excellent nationwide footprint, our agent partners will be able to get more of the business that comes their way through this augmented Frontier relationship via WTG,” Bradley added.
WTG contracts with more than 100 service providers whose products include local, long-distance, data and Internet.
It was not immediately clear which other master agents have joined the Frontier Strategic Alliance Channel.
