Master agency World Telecom Group (WTG) held its Eighth Annual Holiday Party on Dec. 7. Nearly 80 WTG agents and sponsor guests flocked to the Marriott in Manhattan Beach, Calif., for a full day and evening of fun. Unfortunately, the day began with rain; but by party time, it was a beautiful.

First on the agenda was a golf tournament sponsored by AT&T at the hotel’s nine-hole, par-three course. WTG gave out prizes for the Low Gross and Low Net foursomes, and also for Closest to the Pin. Golf was followed by a Happy Hour Mixer sponsored by Covad, and a Wireless Showcase sponsored by WTG Wireless, Sprint, Palm and RIM.

Then, the private party took over the Terrace Bistro restaurant for Las Vegas-style casino games, holiday dinner and golf awards sponsored by XO Communications.

Finally, WTG held its Party Prize Drawings where the company gave out donated prizes of an iPod Touch (from Covad), BlackBerry World Phone (from RIM) and two Treos (from Palm).

The night ended with dancing with an energetic deejay. We were told it was great fun for all!
