XO Resells Notification Service

It makes sense to be able to communicate immediately about something as serious as an emergency alert, or something as mundane as a bill’s due date. That’s why XO Interactive Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of service provider XO Communications Inc., has signed on as a reseller for MIR3 Inc.’s INlogicNOW Intelligent Notification service.

XO Interactive is offering INlogicNOW as part its custom and hosted Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solutions. XO Interactive also will be the hosted platform provider for MIR3 services.

MIR3’s INlogicNOW will allow XO customers to automate, track and report on outbound communications, and let them send immediate notifications such as fraud alerts, account notices, due dates and more.

INlogicNOW also can be configured and used as an emergency notification system to alert thousands of recipients to impending disasters, emergencies, and mandatory evacuations.

The system works in the public and private sectors. It is powered by redundant optical backbones to ensure service availability, uptime and performance, MIR3 says.

“Not only will our customers benefit from the frequent, regular contact with their own customers, but the MIR3 technology allows us to add to our already strong portfolio of custom hosted IVR services,” says Jeff Bradley, vice president and general manager of XO Interactive.

XO’s Intelligent Notification solution allows customers to access recipient profile information from existing databases and, based on recipient preferences, deliver voice and text notifications to a variety of devices, including phones, e-mail, pagers, mobile phones, satellite phones, fax, PDAs and BlackBerries. MIR3 says, using INlogic- NOW, IVR customers can establish a number of service delivery factors to end users, including speech or text, the sequence of communication devices to contact, the number of times in which to try to deliver the time-sensitive information, and how to authenticate the called party. INlogicNOW’s “Call-Bridge” capability also allows a called party to be quickly connected back to the IVR customer’s call center with a push of a button.

MIR3 is a privately held company based in San Diego.
