Xpedius Touts Agent Program Growth

Xspedius Communications (Booth 600) says it has enhanced its agent program ten-fold since the Channel Partners show in Miami six months ago. The company says it has streamlined its agent contracts, added a master agent program, increased agent commissions, and accelerated the payment schedule and introduced a Web-based order entry system.

Xspedius Agent Channel Vice President Shannon Estes says the increased commissions and accelerated payment schedule are significant partner program advancements. "In the past, new agents would have had to ramp up to $200,000 in MRR before their commissions increased," explains Estes. "Now, we accelerate commissions at the $5,000, $10,000, $25,000, $50,000 MRR levels and so on."

Xspedius also has added to its product line the Complete Dynamic product set, which offers customers flexibility in designing their voice and data services. Another key addition of the Xspedius product suite is Managed VPN, which rapidly is becoming the platform of choice for business’ wide-area networking needs, the company says.
